Would you like to accept Jesus as your Savior right now?
It is not as hard as you might think. The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. To 'sin' simply means 'to miss the mark'. Have you ever known a person who has never missed the mark? Neither has God. That's why He said 'all have sinned'. Realizing this is the very first step to spending eternity with Jesus.
Next, we must realize that we need a savior - someone who can save us from sin and ourselves. The Bible says that God deposited His law in our hearts so we would have a conscience and know right from wrong. No matter how hard we try we will never 'get it right' on our own. We must accept what Jesus did for us on the cross. He offered his body as an sacrifice so that we can have victory in this life and the next one. It is only through his love and sacrifice that this is possible.
To receive Jesus as your Savior there are no fancy words to say. No chants or charts. Nothing to buy. He already paid the price for us. It is a free gift. Just receive it freely as He wants you to. Right now you can begin to receive Christ into your heart as you say this out loud:
"Lord I have made a mess of my life. I am not happy the way I am. I have known for awhile now that there is something drastically missing in my life. I now realize that, that something is You. Please forgive me for all the ways I have missed the mark. I want a new beginning - to start over. Will you come into my life and help me start a new life in You? I receive the free gift you paid for with your life. I submit to you now. I will call you Lord and I will serve you all the days of my life. THANK YOU LORD!!!
Now start afresh with getting into a spirt-filled church that has sound Biblical teaching. Surround yourself with like-minded Christians. Begin to read the Bible and to pray like you just did when you asked Him into your heart. Seek God for direction and as your source for everything in life. Invite the Holy Spirit to be with you and guide you. Learn how to lean on Jesus in times of trouble. Talk with Him, walk with Him and He will never leave you, nor forsake you.
God Bless You! Welcome to the Family!!
