Teenagers face many challenges in today’s tough and rugged society. Our job at Alpha & Omega is to ensure that they get the right training and the right knowledge to overcome any problem or situation that they come across.

The Teens group encompasses Middle - High School students. Its tough  to grow up through high school and all the problems associated with it. Our goal is to give them the scriptural principals to say NO, and the confidence to stand behind those decisions.

Some of the root problems with our Middle School and High School students is substance related peer pressure. The problem is always present, but scripture says: 

"Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who

lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body."

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NLT)

One of the biggest advantages, and problems with our society today is that

everything is instant! Everyone is connected so much to the internet / music /console games that they sometimes loose focus on God.   

What if instead of being plugged so much into our digital society that you were plugged into the word of God?

"And so dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the  kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don't copy the  behaviors and customs of this world, but let God Transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:1-2 (NLT)

Teenagers  here are also taught to : "Guard your heart above all else, for it

determines the course of your life." Proverbs 4:23 (nlt) We all have our special abilities and talents, wants and desires. Only GOD can unlock our true potential. That is also something that we at Alpha & Omega pray for diligently for our  teenagers. Scripture says: ”For I know the plans I have for you,"  declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm  you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29-11.

With the right knowledge of Gods scripture and the direct application of its use in  our lives, we will walk and live out God’s promises. We can have the courage to walk thru our society and the faith to know that God is right there walking right  next to us.
